Services for Billy Joe Sanders of Bogue Chitto are 2 p.m.,Saturday, April 20, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burialin Union Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 4-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Sanders, 24, died April 18, 2002, in Amite County. He wasborn in Brookhaven on Aug. 25, 1977, to Charles Ray Sanders andJanice Marie Thomas Sanders.

He was employed in the oil field with David New Drilling. He wasa member of the Pentecostal faith.

Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Willie Thomas,Marie Givens Thomas, Eva Sanders and Jessie Sanders.

Survivors are his wife, Rebecca Sauls Sanders of Bogue Chitto;his son, Austin Melton of Bogue Chitto; his daughter, BriannaSanders of Bogue Chitto; his father, Charles Ray Sanders Sr. ofBogue Chitto; his mother, Janice Marie Thomas Sanders of BogueChitto; his brother, Charles Ray Sanders Jr. of Bogue Chitto; andhis sisters, Marie Sanders of Hattiesburg and Amy Hardin of BogueChitto.
