MONTICELLO — Three Silver Creek were arrested Saturday fortheir alleged involvement in a burglary earlier this week.

Eric Jefferson, 20, of 61 6th Avenue, Silver Creek, and EricTodd Fortenberry, 19, and Rondell R. Gardner, 18, both of Route 1,Silver Creek, have all been charged with house burglary.Fortenberry faces an additional charge of receiving stolenproperty, according to Deputy Chris Cox.

Other charges against the three men from the Monticello PoliceDepartment may be pending, he added.

The three men will have their initial hearings Monday.

“I haven’t really questioned them all that much yet,” Cox said.”We’ll know a lot more Monday.

“The victims statements and documented paperwork shows theirinvolvement,” he added.

Cox said he will be questioning the three about this burglaryand possible involvement in other burglaries in the communityMonday.
