MERIDIAN – The Copiah-Lincoln Community College Lady Wolves madeschool history Saturday, winning all nine of their championshipmatches on their way to the MACJC state title. The Lady Wolves alsocaptured the Region 23 championship Sunday.

The women’s tennis tournament was held at the Northeast TennisCenter in Meridian.

The MACJC state score was Co-Lin with 33 points and Itawambawith 17 points. The Region 23 scores had Co-Lin recording 33 andMeridian second with 25.

Members of the Lady Wolves tennis team are Lindsey Phillips,Holli Adams and Kim McBride of Brookhaven, Jessica Phillips andMary Ann Jones of Wesson, Bethany Barr of Magee and Ashley Matthewsof Roxie.
