Services for Mae Bell Wilson Beam of Monticello are 2 p.m.,Saturday, April 27, at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with burial inCarmel Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 5-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Beam, 75, died April 25, 2002, at Lawrence County Hospital.She was born in Lawrence County on Sept. 15, 1926, to John Henryand Ada Angeline Hedgepeth Wilson. She moved to Monticello 14 yearsago from Nesbit.

She was retired with 14 years service as a filing clerk withParts & Corporation in Memphis. She was a member of CarmelBaptist Church. She was known for her quilting.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, FrankBeam; her brothers, John R., Jim, Homer B., “Buster”, Herbert,Thomas, Dudley, Henry and A. Wilson; and her sisters, Emma Russell,Amanda Rhea Wells, Anne Bell, and an infant sister.

Survivors are her brother, Ray Wilson of Monticello; hersisters, Wadie Raines Wilson and Mary W. McNeese, both ofMonticello, Polly W. Reid of Arlington, Texas, and Kay W. Coursonof Kinston, Ala.; her aunt, Ella Wee Rutherford of Monticello; anda host of nieces and nephews.
