Services for Julia Rand Langston of Summit are 2 p.m., Thursday,May 2, at Moak’s Creek Baptist Church with burial in the churchcemetery.

Visitation is today from 5-9 p.m. and Thursday from 8 a.m. until1 p.m. at Hartman Funeral Home in McComb.

Mrs. Langston, 95, died April 30, 2002, at Beverly HealthcareNursing Home in McComb. She was born in Walthall County on Dec. 26,1906, to Dallas L. Rand and Eddie Thornhill Rand. Her stepmotherwas Rachel Martin Rand.

She was retired from KayRuth Manufacturing and Kellwood Company.She was a member of Moak’s Creek Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Guy Langston; herdaughter, Guynell Langston Brumfield; her brothers, Oliver andIsaac Rand; and her sister, Susie Rand Stubbs.

Survivors are her daughter, Alberta Price of Bogue Chitto; hersisters, Ella Mae Rand Lawrence of Enon and Audrey Faye Rand Maplesof Mt. Herman, La.; her grandchildren, Ricky and Pam Brumfield andDavid and Monroe Price; and her great-grandchildren, ChristopherLee Price, Zachary, Patrick, and Alison Brumfield, Justin Smith andDakota Wells, and Austin and Alana Price.

Pallbearers are Rick Brumfield, Eric Wells, David Price, NolanLangston, Monroe Price and Ritchie Murl Rand. Honorary pallbearersare Aubrey Ray Langston, Claude Henry Stubbs, Edwin May, WilliamLoyd Rand, and Billy Gunther.

Ministers conducting the service will be the Rev. Billy Howse,the Rev. Jimmy Smith, and the Rev. Mark Worsham.
