Graveside services for William Morris Allgood of Laurel are 1p.m., Thursday, May 9, at New Prospect Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 5-9 p.m. at Harrigill Funeral Home.

Mr. Allgood, 77, died May 7, 2002, at his residence. He was bornin Lincoln County on March 23, 1925, to William Louie Allgood andFannie Mae Smith Allgood.

He was retired as the former owner of Southland SeismicExploration. He was a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his son, Rick Allgood of Bogue Chitto; hisdaughters, Sandy Fielder and Joannie Martin, both of Bogue Chitto;his brother, Herman Dean Allgood of Reno, Nev.; his sister, BettyMonelle Wallace of Groves, Texas; his grandchildren, Matt Allgood,Adam Allgood, and Cortney Fielder; and his stepgrandchildren,Johnny Fielder, Cam Fielder and Misty Smith.
