Services for Etta Margaret Thomas of Union City, Tenn., are 11a.m., Saturday, May 18, at White-Ranson Funeral Home with burial inEast View Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Thomas, 89, died May 15, 2002, at Baptist MemorialHospital. She was born in Union City on Feb. 10, 1913, to Herman D.Stanfield and Mary Bell Marshall Stanfield.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of First Baptist Church,Union City.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Arvel FryThomas; and her sisters, Mary Emma Stanfield and GenevaStanfield.

Survivors are her daughter, Sandra Hinton of Benton, Ky.; hersons, A. F. “Buster” Thomas Jr. of Brookhaven, Frank M. Thomas ofLucedale, and Richard S. Thomas of Clinton, Ky.; and sixgrandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
