Services for Robert A. Grice of Jackson are 10 a.m., Saturday,May 25, at Christ United Methodist Church with burial in ParkwayMemorial Cemetery in Ridgeland.
Visitation is today from 5-8 p.m. at Wright & FergusonFuneral Home in Ridgeland and Saturday from 9 a.m. until servicetime at the church.
Mr. Grice, 67, died May 23, 2002, at St. Dominic’s Hospital. Hewas a native of Lincoln County and had been a resident of Jacksonfor 27 years. He attended Whitworth College and Copiah-LincolnJunior College.
He was the owner of Craft Masters, Inc., and was known for hiswoodworking abilities. He was a member of Christ United MethodistChurch and he dearly loved his church. He was past master of theWatt Carter Museum Masonic Lodge. He worked many hours for Habitatfor Humanity.
He served in the Army during the Korean War. He was verypatriotic and loved his country. He always flew the American flagat his home on special days and encouraged his neighbors to dolikewise.
Survivors are his wife, Joel Ann Grice of Jackson; his sons,Ricky Grice and wife Sandra of Brandon and Randy Grice and wifeDonna of Arab, Ala.; his daughters, Robin Grice and Julie Grice,both of Jackson; his stepsons, Vern Boothe Jr. and wife Jane ofMadison and Kent Boothe and wife Leigh of Flora; his stepdaughter,Mindy Perry and husband Quinton of Ridgeland; his mother, LauraGrice of Bogue Chitto; his sisters, Hilda Hart of Bogue Chitto andRebecca Moak of Baton Rouge; his brothers, Floyd Grice of SoSo,Paul Grice of Atlanta, and Charles Grice of Brookhaven; hisgrandchildren, Jessica Patrick, Laura Grice, Nathan Grice, KalaGrice, Clay Boothe, Brett Boothe, Spencer Boothe, Aubrey Johnson,Christopher Boothe, Matthew Boothe, Chase Boothe, Chelsea Boothe,Ann Turner Perry, Wes Perry, and Catherine Perry; and hisgreat-grandchild, Ethan Patrick Sims.
