Services for Lula Mae Reed of Metairie, La., are 9 a.m.,Saturday, June 15, at Richardson Funeral Home in Kenner withgraveside services at 2 p.m. at Carver Heights Cemetery inBrookhaven. Tyler Funeral Home is in charge of localarrangements.

Mrs. Reed, 84, died June 10, 2002, at her residence. She wasborn in Brookhaven on March 6, 1918, to Hattie Norwood and JamesCollins. She was a graduate of Alexander High School.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Hickory Knoll Church ofChrist.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Survivors are her daughters, Doris Strawder of Mobile andDeborah Norah of Metairie; her sisters, Josephine Peters of NewOrleans and Mary Christine Sanders of Brookhaven; sevengrandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; fourgreat-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
