Services for Thelma Wooten White of Gautier are 2 p.m.,Wednesday, July 3, at Harrigill Funeral Home Chapel with gravesideservices at Mission Hill Cemetery in Lincoln County.

Visitation is today from 5-10 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. White, 75, died June 30, 2002, at Singing River Hospital inPascagoula. She was born in McCall Creek on Feb. 4, 1927, to Adaand Prentiss Wooten. She was a graduate of West Lincoln HighSchool. She was a resident of Brookhaven for 44 years before movingto Laurel, where she lived for 10 years before moving to Gautier in1998.

She was the office manager of White Insurance in Brookhaven formany years and was a homemaker. She was a member of Trinity BaptistChurch in Laurel.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, GarlandLee White; her daughter, Joan Anderson; her granddaughter, JenniferWhite; her son-in-law, Michael Mountain; her brothers, Vernon andPaul Wooten; and her sisters, Mamie Dell Lyons and MargieWilkerson.

Survivors are her children, Joe White and wife Geri of Seminary,Judy Sturtevant of Gautier, Jack White and wife Gail ofHattiesburg, and Dr. Janet White-Mountain of Ocean Springs; herbrother, George Wooten and wife Ann of Natchez; her grandchildren,Lisa Greer of Meridian, Todd White of Franklin, Tenn., Slade Whiteand Jay White, both of Hattiesburg, Jonathan White of Laurel, JimAnderson of Paso Robles, Calif., and Lincoln White of OceanSprings; five great-grandchildren and 14 nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Todd White, Slade White,Jonathan White, Jay White, Jim Anderson, and Lincoln White.
