Services for Joseph W. McCall of McComb are 10 a.m., Tuesday,July 16, at Catchings Funeral Home Chapel with burial in EbenezerCemetery in Franklin County.

Visitation is today from 5-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 9 a.m. untilservice time at the funeral home.

Mr. McCall, 78, died July 14, 2002, at his residence. He wasborn in McCall Creek on June 3, 1924, to Nolan Felix McCall andHelon Miller McCall.

He was a retired gauger for Chevron Oil Company. He was a memberof Ebenezer Methodist Church. He was a Navy veteran of WWII and amember of the Magnolia Post of the V.F.W.

Survivors are his wife of 33 years, Bernice Clark McCall ofMcComb; his sons, Joseph Michael McCall of Hammond, La., andRussell Jordan McCall of Gulfport; his daughters, Mary HelenWheatley of Terrell, Texas, Sharon Evelyn Haymon of Brandon, BettyeGlynn Lewis of Liberty, and Judy Lynn Branning of Summit; hisbrothers, Enoch Henry McCall of Collins and Daniel PoindexterMcCall of Natchez; his sisters, Virginia McCall Holland of Natchezand Peggy Sue McCall Allen of Brookhaven; and 15 grandchildren, 15great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
