Services for William S. Sellers of Brookhaven are 10 a.m.,Thursday, July 18, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with gravesideservice at 10 a.m. Saturday in DeFuniak Springs, Fla.

Visitation is today from 5-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Sellers, 82, died July 16, 2002, at St. Dominic’s Hospitalin Jackson. He was born in New York, N.Y., on Oct. 29, 1919, toJohn E. Sellers and Eleanor Chapman Sellers.

He was retired from Michael Baker Jr. Engineers. He was a memberof the Baptist faith. He was an Army veteran of WWII.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, MargaretBruce Sellers; and his grandson, John Oliver.

Survivors are his sons, Stuart Sellers of Brookhaven and MalcolmSellers of Church Point, La.; his daughters, Madeleine Oliver ofJackson and Willinda Hopson of Yazoo City; his brother, John E.Sellers of New York; his sisters, Eleanor Bell of Port St. Lucie,Fla., and Emily McCallen of New York, N.Y.; his grandchildren,Jamie Hopson, Jennifer Hopson, Angel Oliver, Maggie Sellers andCastle Sellers; and four great-grandchildren.
