Services for William Thomas Keating Sr. of Crystal Springs wereThursday, July 18, at Stringer Funeral Home Chapel with burial inCrystal Springs Cemetery.

Mr. Keating, 80, died July 15, 2002, at his residence.

He was a retired meteorologist for the U.S. Weather Service. Hewas a member of First Baptist Church of Crystal Springs. He was anAir Force veteran of WWII, where he served as a weathertechnician.

Survivors are his wife, Jane Keating of Crystal Springs; hisson, Tom Keating of Louisville, Ky.; his daughters, MargaretDruetta of Crystal Springs and Janice Bailey of Salisbury, Md.; hisbrother, James Keating of Crystal Springs; and fivegrandchildren.
