Services for Lula Lucille Moody of Hattiesburg are 1 p.m.,Saturday, Aug. 3, at Bethel United Methodist Church in DeSoto withburial in New Hope Cemetery in DeSoto.

Visitation is Friday from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. at Tyler FuneralHome and Saturday from noon until service time at the church.

Miss Moody, 72, died July 28, 2002, at Bedford Care Center inHattiesburg. She was born in DeSoto on June 16, 1930, to HerbertMoody Sr. and Mollie Shanks Moody.

She was a former garment factory worker. She was a member ofBethel United Methodist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her brothers,Charlie and Oliver Moody.

Survivors are her brothers, Herbert Moody Jr. of Shubuta, GeorgeW. Moody of Hattiesburg, Odell Moody of Vossburg, and Ollie Moodyof Meridian; her sisters, Fronie Moody Qualls of Bogue Chitto andArdell Moody of North Hills, Calif.; and a host of nieces andnephews.
