Services for Mamie Upton Holcomb of Bogue Chitto are 11 a.m.,Saturday, Aug. 3, at Harrigill Funeral Home with burial in UnionHall Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 5-10 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Holcomb, 55, died July 31, 2002, at University MedicalCenter in Jackson. She was born in Brookhaven on June 22, 1947, toEugene Willard Upton Sr. and Edna Strickland Upton.

She was a homemaker.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Survivors are her sons, George H. Holcomb of Wesson and RickyCollins of Brookhaven; her daughters, Vicky L. Walker and Debra AMohon, both of Bogue Chitto, and Brenda K. Laird of Brookhaven; herbrothers, Eugene Willard Upton, Charles Earl Upton, and LuciusUpton, all of Brookhaven; her sisters, Joyce Melton, Carol Leeper,and Irene Upton, all of Brookhaven; and eight grandchildren.
