Services for Bertha Corban Butler of Gulfport were 2 p.m.Saturday, Aug. 3, at Franklin Funeral Home Chapel with burial inZion Hill Church Cemetery in Amite County.

Mrs. Butler, 83, died Friday, Aug. 2, 2002, in Gulfport. She wasborn on June 1, 1919.

She was a member of Vidalia Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death was her husband, W.J. Butler.

Survivors are her sons, Joe Butler of Pineville, La., DavidButler of Vicksburg and Tommy Butler of Gautier; daughter, BerniceLadner of Gulfport; brother, Lee Corban of Meadville; sisters,Pearl Campbell of North Carolina and Hattie McLemore of Texas; fivegrandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
