Services for Leola Banks Coleman of Loyd Star are 2 p.m.,Saturday, Aug. 10, at Jericho Church of Christ with burial in thechurch cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from noon until 6 p.m. at WilliamsMortuary.

Mrs. Coleman, 52, died Aug. 4, 2002, at St. Dominic’s Hospital.She was born in Lincoln County on March 20, 1950, to James “Buddy”Banks and Virgie Brown Banks.

She was disabled. She was a member of Jericho Church ofChrist.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her sisters, CoraLee Banks and Janice Pearl Banks Shannon.

Survivors are her husband, James E. Coleman of Loyd Star; herdaughter, Lora Ann McGruder of Brookhaven; her sisters, Katie RuthHenderson, Arcola Kelly, Annie Ruth Adams, Vangie Brooks, andLenora Varnado, all of Brookhaven; her brothers, Will Banks of St.Louis, Mo.; James W. Banks of Palm Dale, Calif., Robert Banks ofHillburts, Calif., and Willie P. Banks, Cammie Lee Banks, JohnnyLee Banks, and Larry Banks, all of Brookhaven; her half-brother,Leroy Allen of Brookhaven; and three grandchildren.
