Services for Herbert A. Wilkinson Jr. of Meadville are 2:30p.m., Sunday, Aug. 18, at Pilgrim’s Rest Primitive Baptist Churchwith burial in Pilgrim’s Rest Cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from 4-7 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home inMansfield, La., and from 4-8 p.m. Saturday at Franklin FuneralHome.

Mr. Wilkinson, 68, died Aug. 15, 2002, at Willis KnightonMedical Center. He was born in Meadville.

He was retired as a lab technician with 47 years service withInternational Paper Company. He was a football referee for theMississippi High School Association for 25 years. He was an Armyveteran.

Survivors are his wife, Helen Crews Wilkinson of Mansfield, La.,and formerly of McComb; his sons, Dudley Wilkinson of Meadville,Howard Wilkinson of Stanley, La., and Richard Wilkinson ofMansfield, La.; his sister, Vondine Lowe of Hampton, Va.; and fourgrandchildren.
