Services for Julia N. Oliver of Hazlehurst are 7 p.m., Monday,Aug. 19, at Unity Baptist Church with burial in Grandview Gardensin Rock Hill, S.C. The Rev. Jerome McLendon and the Rev. KeithSmith will conduct the services.

Visitation is today from 5-9 p.m. at the church. Hartman FuneralHome in McComb is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Oliver, 78, died Aug. 17, 2002, at Rankin Medical Center.She was born in South Carolina on Feb. 19, 1924, to Jules andBessie Miller Nicholson.

She was a homemaker.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, JuliusDavid Oliver; and four brothers.

Survivors are her sons and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Jan Oliverof Rock Hill, S.C., and Billy Ray Oliver of Florida; her daughtersand son-in-law, Linda “Lynn” and Everette Ingle of Hazlehurst andVicky Oliver of Brookhaven; her sister, Rachel Stewart of Matthews,N.C.; and 11 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
