Swann-Coleman win Tucker Smith tourney

Don Coleman and Henry Swann captured the Championship Flight inthe Sixth Annual Tucker Smith Memorial Labor Day Weekend 4-BallTournament. They defeated George Hennington and Jeff Henning inMonday’s final round, winning 5 and 3. Coleman birdied the 16thhole to end the match.
Sixty-four teams, totaling 128 players, were divided into 8flights for the 3-day tournament at the Brookhaven Country Club.All proceeds went to benefit the Lincoln County Chapter of theHabitat for Humanity.
Richard Smith and Joe Patterson won the First Flight. DonHaskins and David Strong took the Second Flight.
Holes In One
There were two holes-in-one during the tournament. PatHennington aced the 135-yard 12th hole on Saturday and Kent Allenaced the 12th hole on Sunday.
