Services for Hiram C. Temple Sr. of Wakefield, La., are 2 p.m.,Saturday, Sept. 7, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Franklin Countywith burial in the church cemetery.

Mr. Temple, 70, died Sept. 4, 2002, at East Feliciana ParishHospital in St. Francisville, La. He was born in Amite County onSept. 14, 1931, to Curtis L. Temple and Unabelle WhittingtonTemple.

He was a retired boiler maker. He was an Army veteran of theKorean Conflict.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and his wife, Mary LouIvy Temple.

Survivors are his sons, Hiram C. Temple Jr. of Clinton, La.,William Randolph Temple and Samuel Lynn Temple, both of Wakefield,La., and Billy Ray Temple of Marksville, La.; and sixgrandchildren.
