Services for Malcolm T. Nelson of Wesson are 11 a.m., Monday,Sept. 9, at Philadelphia Baptist Church with burial in the churchcemetery.
Visitation is today from 5-9 p.m. at Brookhaven Funeral Home,and from 10-11 a.m., Monday at the church.
Mr. Nelson, 74, died Sept. 6, 2002, at Baptist Medical Center.He was born in Lawrence County on Oct. 22, 1927, to the late RobertNelson and the late Sophie Rutland Nelson.
He was a merchant. He was a Lincoln County supervisor for fouryears, and he served in the Korean War. He was a member ofPhiladelphia Baptist Church.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
Survivors are his wife, Helen McGrew Nelson of Wesson; hisdaughters and sons-in-law, Marjorie and Richard White of Terry, andSandra and Roger Rich of Brookhaven; his brothers, Hoyte Nelson ofSlidell, La., Euel Nelson of Monticello and Bobby Nelson ofTylertown; his sister, Thelma Thames of Jayess; and eightgrandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and onegreat-great-grandchild.
Memorials may be made to New Hope Methodist Church.
