Services for Howard Kenneth Acy of Canton are 9 a.m., Wednesday,Sept. 18, at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home on Highland ColonyParkway in Ridgeland with burial in Canton Cemetery.

Visitation is today, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mr. Acy, 75, died Sept. 15, 2002, at Hospice Ministries inRidgeland. He was born in Carroll County on Nov. 25, 1926.

He operated New Oil Mill. He was a member of Center TerranceBaptist Church and lived in Canton for 55 years.

Survivors are his wife, Madeline “Kitty” Acy of Canton; hisdaughters, Sandra Zadroga, Wanda Baldwin and Teresa Watts, all ofCanton, and Sherrye LaCour of Madison; his siblings, VickieRoberts, Leroy Acy and Houston Acy, all of Brookhaven, Jane Readyof Summit, Birdie Mae McVeety of Cape Girardeau, Mo., Clarice Dunnof Greenwood, Betty Campbell of Millington, Tenn., Carolyn Searcyof Hobbs, N.M., Kay Hamilton of Memphis, Tenn., and Amy Sims ofArlington, Texas; and eight grandchildren; and twogreat-grandchildren.
