Services for Odies Watson Sr. of Wesson are 1 p.m., Sunday,Sept. 29, at Zion Hill M. B. Church with burial in the churchcemetery.

Visitation is Saturday from noon until 6 p.m. with family hourfrom 5-6 p.m. at Williams Mortuary.

Mr. Watson, 88, died Sept. 23, 2002, at Jackson. He was born inCopiah County on Jan. 3, 1914, to Oliver Watson and MattieWatson.

He was a retired school bus driver. He was a member of Zion HillM. B. Church, where he was a deacon.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, PearlenaWatson; his sons, Odies Watson Jr. and Robert Watson; and hisdaughter, Annie Pearl Sutton.

Survivors are his sons, Willie T. Watson and Luther Watson, bothof Kankakee, Ill., Robert Watson of Jackson, Ira Lee Watson ofRichmond, Calif., and John E. Watson of Wesson; his daughters,Betty Steward of Inkster, Mich., Ollie Mae Robinson and Annie MyrlScott, both of Chicago, and Jessie B. Williams of Jackson; hissister, Colonie Mae Walker of Chicago; and 42 grandchildren andmany great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
