Services for Lula Mae Brown of Sontag are 11 a.m., Wednesday,Oct. 2, 2002, at Pine Grove M.B. Church in Sontag with burial inthe church cemetery.

Visitation is Wednesday, at 10 a.m. at the church.

Mrs. Brown, 75, died Sept. 29, 2002 at her residence. She wasborn in Wesson on Jan. 21, 1927, to John and Maggie Robinson.

She was a graduate of Alexander High School and a homemaker. Shewas a member of Pine Grove M.B. Church where she was a member ofthe choir.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, A.C. BrownSr.; brothers, Robert, Vernon and R.T.; and a granddaughter, AngelaBrown.

Survivors are her sons, Don Ervin Brown, Michael Brown, A.C.Brown Jr., and Jeffery Brown, all of Sontag, and Lawrence PaulBrown of Houston, Texas; her daughters, Brenda Brown Hogan ofJackson, and Phyllis Brown Johnson of Brandon; her brothers, J.T.Robinson, and Frank Robinson, both of Chicago; sisters, Johnnie M.Thurman, Georgia Mae Hampton, Ethel Lea Robinson, and Norma JeanRobinson, all of Chicago; 12 grandchildren, fourgreat-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
