Services for Thomas Brent Johnston of McComb are 10 a.m.,Thursday, Oct. 3, at Hartman Funeral Home in McComb with burial inHollywood Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 5-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Johnston, 28, died Sept. 30, 2002 at Southwest MississippiRegional Medical Center. He was born in McComb on Nov. 20, 1973, toDouglas Johnston of Smithdale, and Vicky and Mike Johnson ofMcComb.

He graduated from McComb High School in 1992 and was a member ofthe football team. He was a graduate of Southwest MississippiCommunity College where he was named to the All-State All-Starsfootball team. He also attended the University of SouthernMississippi.

He was sales manager for Stokes Distributing of McComb. He was amember of Oak Grove Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Robert Stanton andClaudine White, and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Rawls Johnston.

Survivors are his parents; his wife, Amy Busby Johnston; hisdaughter, Breah Nichole Johnston; his brothers and sister-in-law,Ricky and Leona Johnston, and Micheal Johnson, all of McComb; hissister and brother-in-law, Angela and Rich Nichols of Brandon; hisaunts and uncles, Gene and Louise Brumfield of Bogue Chitto, Robertand Opal Johnston of Gloster, Mattie Lea Newman, Betty Sue Smith,Thomas E. “Pete” and Mary Alice Johnston, Guy Johnston, Clayton andTot Johnston, Purvis and Nevelyn Allred, and Cliff and SharonWhite, all of Smithdale, Harold and Anna Johnston, Etta Merle Hux,Jimmy and Lexine Deer, and John and Linda Grafton, all of McComb;and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Treyce Felter, Chad Robison, John Grafton,Jeff Grafton, Clay Johnston, Jamie Newman, Tommy Lindley, MarkRatcliff, Tommy Williams, and Jamie Stone.

Honorary pallbearers will be the employees of StokesDistributors of McComb.

A trust fund has been set up for Breah Nichole Johnston at PikeCounty National Bank.
