Services for Bruce J. Boerner of Brookhaven are 11 a.m., Friday,Oct. 4, at Faith Presbyterian Church in Brookhaven with burial inRiverwood Memorial Park.

Visitation is Thursday, from 5-8 p.m., and Friday from 8-9:30a.m. at Harrigill Funeral Home. Visitation at the church will beFriday from 10:30-11 a.m.

Mr. Boerner, 81, died Oct. 2, 2002 at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. He was born in Milwaukee, Wisc., on Oct. 5, 1920, to HermanF. Boerner and Meta Jochem Boerner.

He was retired from industrial relations for St. Regis Paper Co.He was a member of Faith Presbyterian Church. He served his countryin the U.S. Army during World War II.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his wife, Delphine Clark Boerner of Brookhaven;his sons, Bruce Jeffrie Boerner, and William David Boerner, both ofBrookhaven, and Robert Clark Boerner of Kennett Square, Pa.; sevengrandchildren; and three nieces and nephews.
