Services for Marilyn Virginia Smith of Crystal Springs are 11a.m., Friday, Oct. 4, at Stringer Funeral Home with burial inCrystal Springs Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 3-9 p.m., and Friday from 9-11 a.m., atthe funeral home.

Mrs. Smith, 62, died Oct. 1, 2002, at Mississippi BaptistMedical Center. She was a native of Franklin County.

She taught school for a total of 32 years, with four at WestLincoln School and 28 years in Crystal Springs Public Schools. Shewas a member of Crystal Springs Church of Christ. She was a pastpresident o the Crystal Springs Garden Club and a life member andpast president of the Junior Auxiliary.

Survivors are her husband, Dennis Smith of Crystal Springs; herbrothers, Charles Thomas Rushing of Phoenix, Ariz., Donald LeonRushing of Collins and Joe Mitchell Rushing of Memphis, Tenn.; andseveral nieces and nephews.
