Services for Paul B. Paxton of Brookhaven are 3:30 p.m.Saturday, Oct. 5, at Harrigill Funeral Home with burial in thePaxton Family Cemetery.

Visitation is Friday, Oct. 4, from 5-9 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mr. Paxton, 63, died Oct. 2, 2002, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. He was born in Brookhaven on Jan. 2, 1939, to W.D. Paxtonand Josephine Grunchy Paxton.

He was retired from Shell Oil Co. He served his country in theU.S. Army in the Berlin Crisis.

Preceding him in death were his parents and his brother, LeoPaxton.

Survivors are his wife, Nancy Kenney Paxton of Brookhaven; hisson, Paul Benjamin Paxton Jr. of Hattiesburg; his brothers, BillyJoe Paxton of Yucca Valley, Calif., and John T. Paxton of Houston,Texas; his sisters, Annette Foresome of Plano, Texas, AnitaGriffith of Raymond, Regina Foehr of Blooming, Ill., DorisDiffrient of Brookhaven, and Elaine Kohsmann of Slidell, La.; and ahost of nieces and nephews.
