Services for Geraldine “Susie” Thornton of Brookhaven are 2p.m., Saturday, Oct. 12, at Bethel Methodist Church with burial inthe church cemetery.

Visitation is today from 5-9 p.m. at Brookhaven FuneralHome.

Mrs. Thornton, 44, died Oct. 10, 2002, at Baptist Hospital inJackson. She was born in Lincoln County on Oct. 17, 1957, to GeorgeWallace and Celeste Wallace.

She was a secretary for Buffalo Services Inc. She was a memberof Bethel Methodist Church.

Preceding her in death was her father.

Survivors are her husband, Harris Thornton of Brookhaven; hermother, Celeste Wallace of Brookhaven; her daughter and son-in-law,Courtney and Nathan Biggs of Brookhaven; her stepsons, JefferyThornton of Mobile and Timothy Thornton of McCall Creek; and herbrother, Randy Wallace of Brookhaven.
