Services for Almeta Westbrook Cameron of Smithdale are 2 p.m.,Saturday, Oct. 19, at Rose Hill M.B. Church in Franklin County withburial in the church cemetery. Williams Mortuary is in charge ofarrangements.

Mrs. Cameron, 88, died Oct. 13, 2002, at her residence. She wasborn in Tangipahoa, La., on June 29, 1914, to John McKnight andFannie McKnight.

She was a member of Rose Hill M.B. Church in Franklin County,where she had served as recording secretary, and was chair andoldest member of the Mothers Board.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husbands, SammieWestbrook Jr. and W. R. Cameron; and her son, Louis ThomasWestbrook.

Survivors are her sons, Johnny Westbrook, James Westbrook,Lawrence Westbrook, Ulyesses Westbrook, and Ray Westbrook, all ofChicago, Harvey Westbrook of Baton Rouge and Theodis Westbrook ofSmithdale; and her daughter, Dorothy Westbrook of Smithdale.
