Services for Frankie Newson of Monticello are 2 p.m. Monday,Oct. 21, at Bethany Missionary Baptist Church in Jayess with burialin the church cemetery.

Visitation is Monday from 1-2 p.m. at the church. Tyler FuneralHome is in charge of arrangements.

Miss Newson, 61, died Oct. 16, 2002, at Mississippi BaptistMedical Center. She was born in Lawrence County on Nov. 21, 1940,to Fannie Newson.

She was a homemaker. She was disabled. She was a member ofBethany M.B. Church.

Preceding her in death were her mother and her sister, LulaNewson.

Survivors are her brothers, Joe Newson of Monticello; hersister, Mary Newson of Monticello; and four nieces and onenephew.
