Services for Joan Wise of Hattiesburg, formerly of Port St. Joe,Fla., are 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 21, at Port St. Joe First UnitedMethodist Church with burial in Holly Hill Cemetery in Port St.Joe, Fla.

Visitation is Monday at noon at the church. Hulett-WinsteadFuneral Home in Hattiesburg is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Wise, 74, died Oct. 18, 2002, at her residence.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Port St. Joe FirstUnited Methodist Church.

Preceding her in death was her husband, James F. Wise Sr.

Survivors are her son, Fred Wise of Tallahassee, Fla.; herdaughters, Paula Baggett of Hattiesburg and Linda Kavitz ofBrookhaven; her sisters, Pauline Miller of Palm Coast, Fla.,Carolyn Hill of New Ellenton, S.C., Frances Baumgart, ofOkeechobee, Fla., and Cora Sue Robinson of Port St. Joe, Fla.; herbrothers, Dr. Thomas Smith of Huntsville, Ala., and Charles Smithof Port St. Joe, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; and fourgreat-grandchildren.
