Services for Lessie Loraine Touchstone of Brookhaven are 3 p.m.,Tuesday, Oct. 22, at Macedonia Baptist Church with burial in thechurch cemetery.

Visitation is today from 6-9 p.m. at Brookhaven FuneralHome.

Mrs. Touchstone, 83, died Oct. 20, 2002, at Countrybrook LivingCenter. She was born in Brookhaven on Sept. 26, 1920, to WalterHenry Carlisle and Susie Ritchie Carlisle. She was a graduate ofFair Oak Springs.

She had worked at Stahl Urban and as a saleslady for Avon.

Preceding her in death were her father; her husband, Robert W.Touchstone; and her brother, John Carlisle.

Survivors are her daughter, Julie Smith of Jackson; her mother,Susie Ritchie Carlisle of Brookhaven; her brothers, Luther Carlisleof Memphis, Henry Carlisle of Bogue Chitto, Shelby Carlisle ofNatchez, Dolphus Carlisle of Brookhaven, and Bill Carlisle of WayneCounty; her sisters, Julie Bankston, Lois Hodge, and LyndaWilliams, all of Brookhaven; her grandchildren, Penny Kelley ofCovington, La., Noah Smith of New Orleans, and Emily N. Warren ofBrookhaven; and her great-grandchildren, Olivia and William Kelleyof Covington.
