Services for Lula M. Kenny of Brookhaven are 11 a.m., Monday,Oct. 28, at New Hope M. B. Church with burial in New HopeCemetery.

Visitation is Sunday from noon through the family hour, which isfrom 6-7 p.m., at Tyler Funeral Home.

Mrs. Kenny, 85, died Oct. 24, 2002, at her residence. She wasborn in Lincoln County on Feb. 21, 1917, to William Dunn and ArzelaPorter Dunn.

She was a retired Headstart assistant teacher for MississippiAction for Progress in Brookhaven. She was a member of New Hope M.B. Church. She was a member of the Christian Community Club andOrder of the Eastern Star.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her husband, OsbyKenny.

Survivors are her sons, John E. Kenny, Robert Kenny and CharlesKenny, all of Brookhaven, and James Kenny of McComb; her daughters,Geneva Smith, Flora Kelly, Floretta Williams, and AllarbradeToinen, all of Brookhaven; her brothers, Versie Dunn ofDonnisville, La., and Melvin Dunn of Waterloo, Iowa; her sister,Florine Jones of Chicago; and 22 grandchildren, 15great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
