Services for Winnie Boyte McCoy of Brookhaven are 11 a.m.,Saturday, Nov. 2, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burial inUnion Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 5-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. McCoy, 81, died Oct. 31, 2002, at Haven Hall Nursing Home.She was born in Brookhaven on June 28, 1921, to Charlie Boyte andLou Crane Boyte.

She was a beautician. She was a member of Union Baptist Church.She was a member and worthy matron of Eastern Star.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, CharlieMcCoy; her brother, J. Q. Boyte; and her sister, Helen BoyteBrown.

Survivors are her daughters, Bertie Fife of Baton Rouge andCharlene Smith of Zachary; her brothers, R. W. Boyte of New Albanyand John David Boyte of Brookhaven; her sisters, Billie JeanRoberts of Denham Springs and Mary Lou Pate of New Orleans; andseven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and a host of otherrelatives.
