Services for Clara R. Moak of Summit are 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 4,at Montgomery Baptist Church with burial in the churchcemetery.

Visitation is Sunday, Nov. 3, from 5-9 p.m. and Monday, Nov. 4,from 9:30 a.m. until service time at the church.

Mrs. Moak, 97, died Oct. 31, 2002, at her residence. She wasborn in Lincoln County on Feb. 4, 1905, to the late Robert “Bob”Lee Reeves and Mattie Laird Reeves.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Montgomery BaptistChurch. She loved to work in her yard, especially with the flowers.She had worked out of the house for many year, but her mainoccupation was as a mother.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Kennie LeeMoak; brothers, Theodore Reeves and Clifton Reeves; sisters, BessieReeves Roberts and Thelma Reeves Avery; son-in-law, Jack Pope;grandsons, James “Jimmy” Marshall McKean III and Robert “Robby” C.Moak.

Survivors are her four daughters and sons-in-law, Esther Pope ofByram, Barbara and Henry Wallace of Brookhaven, Glenda and JimMcKean of Greensburg, La., and Martha Martin of Madison; a sister,Hazel Reeves King of Brookhaven; six grandchildren; ninegreat-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and otherrelatives and friends.

Catchings Funeral Home in McComb is in charge ofarrangements.
