Services for Tommie Lee Sanders of Chicago are 1 p.m., Saturday,Nov. 9, at New Vision Fellowship with burial in HillcrestCemetery.

Visitation is today from 6-7 p.m. at Tyler Funeral Home.

Mr. Sanders, 57, died Nov. 3, 2002, in Chicago. He was born inBrookhaven on Nov. 29, 1944, to Sylvester Harvey and BeatriceSanders Dixon. He was a graduate of Eva Harris and of PrentissInstitute.

He was a brick mason. He was a member of the Baptist faith.

Preceding him in death was his sister, Barbara Diane Smith.

Survivors are his parents; his stepfather, McNair Smith Sr.; hiswife, Sandra Brown Sanders; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Jamesand Artis Smith of Chicago, Johnnie and June Smith, Charles Smith,the Rev. Bruce Smith, and McNair Smith Jr., all of Brookhaven; hissisters, Phyllis Anderson of Chicago, Vanessa Williams ofBrookhaven, Debbie Tobias of Summit, Sandra Wilson of Chicago, andTomarah Allen; and one grandchild, two step-grandchildren, and ahost of nieces and nephews.
