Services for Ruby Collier of Tuscaloosa, Ala., are 1 p.m.,Thursday, Nov. 21, at Holly Springs Funeral Home with burial inPisgah Cemetery in Benton County.

Mrs. Collier, 106, died Nov. 19, 2002, at Heritage Care NursingHome in Tuscaloosa. She was a native of Benton County. At the ageof 92 she moved to Tuscaloosa to be near her daughter andgrandson.

She was a landowner, farmer, and homemaker. She was a member ofWinborn Methodist Church.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Wayne Wynton Collier;her son-in-law, Howard E. Crowson; and four sisters.

Survivors are her daughter, Mary Elizabeth Crowson ofTuscaloosa; her grandson, Howard Crowson and wife Linda ofTuscaloosa; her granddaughter, Sharon Brumfield and husband Georgeof Brookhaven; her great-grandchildren, Dana Perry and husbandCharlie of Chattanooga, Tenn., Erin Likens and husband Art ofBrookhaven, Michael Crowson and wife Stacy of Norman, Okla., andAmy Crowson Beeler and husband John of Tuscaloosa; and hergreat-grandchildren, Hayley Elizabeth Hall and Collin Gent Hall,both of Brookhaven, Sam Perry of Chattanooga, and Melissa Perry ofHigh Point, N.C.
