Services for Evon Johnston Kyzar of Brandon were 2 p.m.,Thursday, Nov. 21, at Harrigill Funeral Home Chapel with burial inBogue Chitto Cemetery.

Mrs. Kyzar, 90, died Nov. 19, 2002, at Rankin Medical Center inBrandon. She was born in Bogue Chitto on Jan. 26, 1912, to LuciusE. Johnston and Julia Sasser Johnston. She had made her home inPelahatchie for several years.

She was a homemaker. She was a long time member of Bogue ChittoBaptist Church and was presently a member of Crossroads BaptistChurch in Pelahatchie.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her husband,Emanuel James Kyzar.

Survivors are her daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and ThomasAlfred McKee of Pearl; her grandchildren, Marcia McKee Purvis andhusband Dale of Pelahatchie and Brian McKee and wife Lynn ofClinton; and her great-grandchildren, Cole and Drew Purvis.
