Services for Cleo “Sis” Netherland of Brookhaven are 2 p.m.,Wednesday, Nov. 27, at Fair River Baptist Church with burial inEasthaven Cemetery.

Visitation today continues until 1:30 p.m. at Harrigill FuneralHome.

Mrs. Netherland, 75, died Nov. 25, 2002, at St. Dominic’sHospital. She was born in Lawrence County on May 15, 1927, toGeorge Pennington and Inez Beeson Pennington.

She was a retired thermometer technician for Hartley Gove Sons.She was a member of Fair River Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, John EarlNetherland; her brother, T. J. Pennington; and her sister, YvonneWilson.

Survivors are her son, Don Netherland of Pensacola, Fla.; herdaughter, Glenda Glover of Madison; her brothers, John Penningtonand Bill Pennington, both of Brookhaven; her sister, Jenell “Tiny”Killingsworth of Brookhaven; and her grandchildren, John and AndieNetherland.
