Services for Atley A. Davis of Monticello are 3 p.m., Tuesday,Dec. 3, at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with burial in New ZionBaptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Davis, 77, died Dec. 1, 2002, at Baptist Medical Center. Hewas born in Lawrence County on Aug. 18, 1925, to the Rev. Archieand Myrtle Russell Davis.

He was a retired parts manager with Keystone-Seneca. He was amember of New Zion Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, BrookseneJames Davis; and two brothers, one sister, and twograndchildren.

Survivors are his sons, Atley Davis Jr. and Jody Davis, both ofMonticello, Glenn Davis of Winslow, Ind., and Jimmie Davis ofCovington, La.; his brothers, Eutha Davis, Charles Davis, RussellDavis, and Claude Davis, all of Monticello; and eight grandchildrenand three great-grandchildren.
