Services for Betty Lynn Prather Mitchell Wallace of McComb are 1p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 10, at Pine Grove Pentecostal Church in Summitwith burial in Ruth Cemetery.

Visitation is today at the church from 5-9 p.m. and Tuesday from9 a.m. until service time. Catchings Funeral Home is in charge ofarrangements.

Mrs. Wallace, 67, died Dec. 7, 2002, at her residence. She wasborn in Hazlehurst on June 3, 1935, to Walter Prather and Anna LoWhite Prather.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Pine Grove PentecostalChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her first husband,Houston Mitchell; her second husband, L. C. Wallace; her daughter,Delma Oliver; her brother, Tommy Prather; and her sisters, GeorgiaWalker, Agnes Caves, Bonnie Prather, and Yvonne Prather.

Survivors are her sons, Alton Mitchell of Wiggins, VernonCarroll Mitchell of Brooklyn, Miss., Hilton Ray Mitchell of BatonRouge, and Donald Mitchell of Bogue Chitto; her daughters, DiannJackson of Wesson, Donna McCullough of Brookhaven, and KathyMitchell of Wiggins; her brothers, W. L. Prather and CarrollPrather, both of Brookhaven, Alton Prather of North Carolina, HughV. Prather of Ruth and David Prather of McComb; her sisters, VeraMae Cutrer and Nora Jean Rials, both of Bogue Chitto; and 10grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces andnephews.
