Services for Effie O. Edmonds of Brookhaven are 2 p.m., Sundayat Easthaven Baptist Church with burial in Easthaven Cemetery.Brookhaven Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Edmonds, 85, died Dec. 13, 2002, at King’s DaughtersMedical center. She was born in Dale County, Ala., on Dec. 16,1916, to John W. Taylor and Nancy Paremore Taylor.

She was retired. She was a member of Easthaven BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Clyde Edmonds; her son,Kenneth Beasley; and one brother and one sister.

Survivors are her sons and daughters-in-law, Mel and SandraEdmonds of Brookhaven, El Edmonds of Porterville, and Dean andBetty Edmonds of Arlton, Ala.; her brother, Harvey Taylor; hersisters, Louise Dunkin of Hokes Bluff, Ala., and Foye Chapman ofGadsden, Ala.; and 14 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren;and one great-great-grandchildren.
