Graveside services for Wilson “Buddy” Hughes of Florence are3:30 p.m., Monday, Dec. 16, at Union Hall Baptist Church Cemetery.Century Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Hughes, 78, died Dec. 15, 2002, of cancer at CountrybrookLiving Center. He was born in Hickman, Ky., on Aug. 30, 1924, toJack Hughes and Thelma Hughes.

He was a retired police officer in Hickman, Ky. He was an Armyveteran of WWII.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his son, Gary Hughes of Brookhaven; his daughters,Tammy Barrett of Florence, Lisa Hutcherson of Mandeville, La.,Robin Windmiller of Brookhaven and Angela Evans of McCall Creek;his brother, Tommy Hughes of Memphis; and 15 grandchildren and 15great-grandchildren.
