Services for Jennie Smith Reeves of Brookhaven are 2 p.m.,Sunday, Dec. 22, at Macedonia Baptist Church with burial in thechurch cemetery.

Visitation is Saturday from 4-9 p.m. at Brookhaven FuneralHome.

Mrs. Reeves, 79, died Dec. 19, 2002, at St. Dominic’s Hospitalin Jackson. She was born in Brookhaven on March 21, 1923, to BertSmith and Cordelia Cagle Smith.

She was retired from University Medical Center in Jackson. Shewas a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, RalphReeves; her sister, Velma Jacobs; and her brothers, Versie Smithand Odell Smith.

Survivors are her son, Carroll Moore of Brookhaven; herstepdaughters, Helen Jean Reeves of Jackson and Mary Nell McGee ofCorpus Christi, Texas; her brothers, Marvin Smith and Sam Smith,both of Brookhaven; her sister, Mavis Callender of McComb; and 12grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
