Services for Glenda Lewis of Brookhaven are 2 p.m., Tuesday,Dec. 31, at St. James Missionary Baptist Church with burial in Mt.Olive Church Cemetery.

Visitation is Tuesday from noon until 3 p.m., at St. James M.B.Church. Williams Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Ms. Lewis, 47, died Dec. 26, 2002, at her residence. She wasborn in Brookhaven on May 21, 1955, to Louis Beard and MasereeSmith Lewis.

She was disabled. She was a 1973 graduate of Alexander HighSchool. She attended Copiah-Lincoln Community College. She was amember of St. James M.B. Church.

Preceding her in death was her father.

Survivors are her mother, Maseree Smith Lewis of Brookhaven; herson, Jamie Lewis of Brookhaven; her daughters, Tammy Jackson ofAurora, Ill., and LaShonda Lewis and Philice Lewis, both ofBrookhaven; her brothers, Monroe Smith, Gregory Lewis, and KenLewis, all of Brookhaven; her sister, Renata Swanigan of Dallas,Texas; and seven grandchildren.
