Services for Lillian Gertrude Smith of Baton Rouge are 2 p.m.,Monday, Dec. 30, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burial inPleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation is today until service time at the funeral home.
Mrs. Smith, 89, died Dec. 29, 2002, at Baton Rouge Health CareCenter. She was born in Lincoln County on May 14, 1913, to HillarySmith and Mary Watts Smith.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of Pleasant Grove BaptistChurch.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Alton L.Smith; her grandson, Eddie Dwayne Jones; her brothers, Harvey,Jaudon, and G. B. Smith; and her sisters, Joycie Smith and JosieSmith.
Survivors are her daughter and son-in-law, Hilda Fay and EddieMarshall Jones of Baton Rouge; her brother, Melvin Smith ofBrookhaven; her sister, Myrblee Butler of Brookhaven; her grandson,Roger Darryl Jones of Baton Rouge; and numerous nieces andnephews.
