Services for Velbra Benjamin of Wesson are 11 a.m., Monday, Dec.30, at Beulah Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Brookhaven withburial in Hillcrest Cemetery in Brookhaven.

Visitation is today from noon to 3 p.m., at Tyler Funeral Home,and today from 5-6 p.m., with family hour from 6-7 p.m., at thechurch.

Mrs. Benjamin, 44, died Dec. 23, 2002, at King’s DaughtersMedical Center. She was born in Bogalusa, La., on July 10, 1958, toCreer A. Brown and Mildred Abram Brown.

She worked in breakpack at Wal-Mart Distribution Center. She wasa member of Beulah Chapel M.B. Church. She was a graduate ofVarnado High School in Varnado, La.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Survivors are her husband, Carson Benjamin of Brookhaven; andher sister, Minnie Brister of Brookhaven.
