Services for Larry “Buddy” Powell of Jayess are 2 p.m., Monday,Jan. 6, at Powell’s Grove Pentecostal Church with burial inProvidence Baptist Church Cemetery.

Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Powell, 66, died Jan. 4, 2003, at Lawrence County Hospital.He was born in Lawrence County on Aug. 21, 1936.

He was a retired maintenance mechanic with Georgia-Pacific. Heattended Powell’s Grove Pentecostal Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his first wife, RebeccaPowell; and his sister, Bobbie Miller.

Survivors are his wife, Regina Powell of Jayess; his son, BoPowell of Jayess; his daughters, Kathy Bryant of Greenwell Springs,La., and LaGwen Ard and Miley Powell, both of Jayess; and 10grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
